Our History:
AMCI, incorporated in February of 2001, was founded to enable a group of service companies that perform essential deep cleaning for automotive manufacturers and power plants throughout North America to work together on a project basis. In the last decade the emphasis on environmental policies and waste reduction grew to be a major part of daily operations. We found that manufacturers were committed to accessing alternative energy and concerned about the amount of long-term liabilities associated with land filling waste.
One of our first endeavors was the act of linking a Chrysler Assembly plant to a waste incineration plant. This connection enabled the plant to achieve a target of eliminating landfill usage completely. Once the Consortium was involved in innovative waste processing technology, we began to seek out partners and technologies that could help us achieve zero landfill initiatives either by providing more efficient equipment or using any waste generated to produce alternative energy. We feel we have aligned with partners who represent the best technology and services in their fields.
